The Town of Minetto has received official notification from the NYS Department of Transportation regarding the repair work planned for the Minetto Bridge.

The following information has been obtained from inquiries into the project: There are two phases of work planned, each including two activities.  One activity is the repair of a joint in the bridge near pier 3. This lane closure will require a concrete barrier between the lanes in the roadway limiting the width of vehicles crossing the bridge to 8 feet.

The expected duration of each lane closure phase will be approximately 3 weeks, for a total project duration of 6 weeks. The start date is expected to be May 21st.
